Serve Sunday – A Day to Love Our Community

On Sunday, May 3, we’re setting aside the morning to step outside the walls of our church and make a difference in Parker County!

Serve Sunday is a special day for the whole family to come together, worship, and serve in meaningful ways in our community. From cleaning up someone’s yard, to putting bracelets together to share the gospel, to making meals and visiting homebound members, there is something for everyone to get involved. This is such a unique and amazing opportunity to get involved and share the name of Jesus in Parker County! Whether you want to head out into the community, join a project at the church, or serve from home, there’s a place for everyone to get involved.

This year, you will sign up for the specific type of project you want to be part of! There are multiple options, and specific descriptions for each are provided within the registration. If you have any questions about any of them, please email missions@fbcwtx.org, and we would be happy to answer them!

Here’s what to expect:

✅ Breakfast Provided – Fuel up before you go. Yes, there will be coffee!

✅ 9:00 AM Family Worship and Prayer – We’ll gather together at the church before heading out.

✅ Serve Opportunities for All Ages & Comfort Levels – Choose from the following or let us know you can be placed anywhere:

• Yard work
• Minor Construction
• Hygiene Kits (Church/At home)
• Homebound Ministry (Church)
• Anything that needs to be done

Key Dates:

• Register by Sunday, April 26
• Details about your project will be emailed out by Thursday, April 30

Childcare Information:

• Childcare available for Birth–3 years old (must be registered).
• Begins after Family Worship and ends at noon.
• Please plan accordingly if you are serving off-site.
